Phoenix Conexus Inc. ("Phoenix Conexus," "we," "us," or "our") operates phoenixconexus.ca (the "Site"). This page explains what information we collect when you visit or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a Southern Ontario–based design and telecommunications consulting firm, and this policy is written to reflect that we are a small, owner-operated business — not a data broker or advertising company.
We collect information in two ways: automatically, as you browse the Site, and directly, when you choose to contact us.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site — which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, general device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from IP address. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to do this. We do not use this data to identify you personally, and we do not sell or share it with advertisers.
Contact form submissions. If you use the contact form, we collect what you provide: first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), the division or service you're inquiring about, and your message. Submissions are delivered to us through Formspree, a third-party form-processing service, and forwarded to our business email.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell personal information to any third party.
We rely on a small number of third-party services to run this Site, each of which processes limited data on our behalf:
These providers may process data outside of Canada. We have chosen established providers with their own privacy and security commitments, but we encourage you to review their policies if you have concerns about cross-border data handling.
The Site uses cookies set by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors and measure usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics specifically using Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies will not affect your ability to browse or contact us through the Site.
Contact form messages are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of business correspondence. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics account settings, consistent with Google's standard retention periods.
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, request that it be corrected, or request that it be deleted, subject to any legal or legitimate business reasons we may have for retaining it. We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This Site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate the Site or in applicable law. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
